Air Release Plug (W749)

Air Release Plug

The air release plug is used to burp out the excess air caught in the sac when filling. 

Used for bags that are not connected to an automatic vent

The Air Release can be used whether you are filling the bag using an automatic plug n play system, or an over-side-pump like our S7090 Supa pump.

Standard Stock FatSacs include a W749 air release 

TO USE:

• Air release plug
• Turn to release air
• For manual filling, not for venting automatic systems
• With O-Ring
• Make sure the plug is screwed into the sac and begin filling, once the bag is almost full you may notice a small amount of air trapped in the top of the bag.
• You can check by thumping the bag with your finger. If it sounds hollow air is trapped
• If air is trapped while the bag is still filling, slowly unscrew the air release. After a few turns you should start to see the air leak out.
• If too much water starts coming turn the air release clockwise to tighten it back up.
• Once it looks like the air has escaped, and or nothing but water is coming from the release tighten the air release back up and complete the filling of the sac.
